Johannes Kleske, 32, currently living in Berlin, Germany. I’m interested in all kinds of topics, but mostly everything connected to food and thought.

My passion is somewhere between an inspiration curator and a trend analyst as my favorite activity is scouting for new ideas, patterns and executions that might inspire others to come up with new ideas, patterns and executions.

Current Occupation

I founded the digital strategy consultancy Third Wave in Berlin with my two friends Igor and Peter. Our fields of operation are marketing & public relations, social media, brand management, trend research, innovation consulting and technology.
We analyze trends and emerging behaviors in the digital realm. We help our clients to understand and adapt to these patterns and create a game plan for all things digital and near future.
In addition, we share our insights through publications and events, like the Cognitive Cities Conference for example, where we invite the brightest minds to discuss the future of cities and how it changes through technology.

Previous Occupation

As a social media strategist at Neue Digitale / Razorfish in Frankfurt, I consulted clients (like Seat, Maggi, Melitta, adidas, Nintendo, Nike, Deutsche Telekom and many more) on how to make sense of all the “social stuff” they hear about and how to make it a part of their communication and company culture. I was part of a team called Connections Planning which brings together disciplins like media, strategy, advanced analytics because we hate siloes and want to create holisitic stuff that makes sense first and foremost for the users.

Web Projects

  • tautoko weblog - My German weblog
  • bits & pieces - My tumblr blog with inspiring stuff I find on the interwebs.
  • Put it perfectly – A tumblr blog for great quotes from articles I’m reading.
  • Berlinblase - Live-coverage of our favorite conference with a bunch of geeks

Just to let you know: I highly enjoy the process of putting thought into words through the act of writing. That’s why this website is first and foremost a tool for myself to make sense of all the stuff going on in my head. Feel free to read and comment, but don’t be surprised if it’s changing all the time and sometimes doesn’t make sense…
